Reality Check

Rain in Bellingen,
As Victoria burned,
Yet there were locals,
Who moaned and yearned
For flood-free access,
Twenty-four-seven.
I reckon they'd vote
For a Seven-Eleven,
A Woolworths, Coles,
Parking lots,
To save their legs,
The lazy twats.
Our valley's unique,
Long may it stay,
Let's learn to love
And keep it that way.
A few days off,
Flooded in, big deal,
Do some housework,
Give the missus a feel.
As for Coles and Woolies
And Good Guy stores,
That's what Coffs Harbour
And Nambucca are for.
